ok all, my PC was built around 2009 and is need of upgrading. I do not have a lot of money to sink into a new one at the moment so hoping i can get some help on a budget friendly build and maybe use some of my current pieces to keep price down. I want to be able to run multiple account at once and this one just has a hard time keeping up anymore. I am able to put it together myself minus water cooling since i haven't done that before.

current:
Motherboard - AsusTek P5Q-Pro
CPU - Intel core 2 Dup E8400 - socket 775 LGA
Ram - DDR2
GPU - AMD Radeon HD 5700
3 monitors

new case isn't needed but might want to as the kids have busted a couple usb ports

Look into AMD Ryzen if you're on a budget.
Unfortunately I think they only thing you'd be able to save from that kind of a build is the monitors, storage, and video card.

Well for around $430 you could build this beast: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cynQf9 Yes, there is no video card, but Ryzen has really good iGPUs. its 81% faster than what you have now. I also threw in an SSD for your sanity, and you can use your old HDD for mass storage.

If you dont want to build your own (I'd question your sanity), here are some prebuilts:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V8W8F1N?tag=wepcus-20

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BD4Q46Q?tag=wepcus-20

As you can see, the prebuilts have lesser specs and cost more. (Why would they include the gt 710 when the iGPU is faster?)
